Consultations
Start with a consultation
Every case begins with a paid consultation so you get honest, focused advice from a licensed RCIC, not a call centre. Choose the option that fits your situation.
General Consultation
An initial call to discuss your case and whether we can assist you. Best for standard questions and quick eligibility assessments.
- Assess your eligibility for the relevant programs
- Confirm whether Verge has a solution for your situation
- Outline the path forward to retainer and representation
Complex & Refused Case Review
A comprehensive session where an experienced RCIC reviews your refusal or complex file in detail. Best for refusals, complex matters, and pre-submission reviews.
- Detailed review of your refusal, documents, or complex application
- The strengths, gaps, and risks in your case, explained clearly
- The most viable pathways forward for your situation
- The path to retainer and full representation before IRCC
Consultation fees are payable at the time of booking. Government and third-party fees (such as IRCC processing, biometrics, and medical exams) are separate. Full representation fees are quoted after your consultation, based on the complexity of your case.

Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing questions, answered
Common questions about our consultations, fees, and what is included.
- Why do you charge for consultations?
- A paid consultation means you receive focused, honest advice from a licensed RCIC who has reviewed your situation, rather than a quick sales call. It also lets us give the time your case deserves. Consultation fees are payable at the time of booking.
- What is the difference between the two consultations?
- The General Consultation is a 20-minute call to assess your eligibility and whether we can assist. The Complex & Refused Case Review is an in-depth session where an experienced RCIC reviews your refusal or complex file in detail, ideal if you have received a refusal or are facing a complicated matter. Please have your refusal letter and relevant documents ready for that session.
- Are government fees included in your prices?
- No. Government and third-party fees, such as IRCC processing fees, biometrics, and medical exams, are separate from our professional fees. We explain which fees apply to your situation during your consultation.
- How are your representation fees determined?
- Immigration cases vary widely, so representation fees are quoted after your consultation based on the program, the documents involved, and the complexity of your case. You will always know the fee before you decide to retain us.
- My application was refused. Which consultation should I book?
- Book the Complex & Refused Case Review. Refused cases are a core part of our work. We review the refusal letter and the officer's notes, identify the real concern, and advise on the strongest way forward.
- Are you a licensed (RCIC) immigration consultant?
- Yes. Verge Immigration Services is led by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in good standing with the CICC and authorized to represent you with IRCC. We serve clients from our Winnipeg, Halifax, and Moncton offices and worldwide.
