Which Manitoba PNP stream fits your situation?
Manitoba runs several nomination streams for different goals — from skilled workers already in the province to overseas applicants, graduates and business investors. Choosing the right one, and building a strong EOI, is where local guidance makes the biggest difference.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM)
For workers already in Manitoba on a work permit, with a full-time, long-term job offer from their Manitoba employer in an in-demand occupation. The most direct route for temporary workers already established in the province.
Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO)
For skilled workers applying from outside Canada who can show an established connection to Manitoba — close family or friend support, prior study or work in the province, or a direct MPNP invitation — and score at least 60 points across language, age, work experience, education and adaptability.
International Education Stream (IES)
A faster pathway for graduates of designated Manitoba post-secondary institutions, through three routes: the Career Employment Pathway, the Graduate Internship Pathway, and the International Student Entrepreneur Pilot.
Business Investor – Entrepreneur Pathway
For entrepreneurs who will start or buy a Manitoba business. Requires a minimum net worth of $500,000 CAD, an eligible investment of $250,000 in the Winnipeg Metro Region (or $150,000 outside it), CLB 5 language, and creating or maintaining at least one local job.
Business Investor – Farm Investor Pathway
For experienced farm operators who will establish and actively run a farm operation in rural Manitoba, with the net worth and investment to make it viable. We assess your plans and build the business and settlement case.

Skilled Worker Overseas applicants are scored out of 100 across five factors. You need at least 60 points to be eligible to apply — and a connection to Manitoba is mandatory no matter your total. Here is how the points break down.
