The principal Applicant had a work permit previously which had expired and along with it, the study permits of the two accompanying children also expired.
When the client first approached us, our Immigration Consultant, Mr. Jatinder Singh made the client aware about the option under T-13 LMIA Exempt Work Permit as the PA had a PNP approval from one of the provinces of Canada, making them eligible for a work permit.
During our work with the client, we did the following:
- Obtained a work permit support letter from the Province as the previous employer had refused to provide an offer of employment through the employer portal;
- Applied for restoration of status as a worker in Canada for the Principal Applicant;
- Applied for restoration of status as a student for the two minor children accompanying in Canada.
The Applications were approved in less than 40 days, which is an incredibly fast turnaround enabling the PA to resume her employment.
