When our client found herself out of status in Canada, time was ticking. She was still within the 90-day window to apply for restoration, but her situation was complicated—her previous employer, unfortunately, refused to provide a new offer of employment (The LMIA exempt offer of employment through employer portal), putting her future in Canada at risk.
That’s when she turned to our team for help.
We immediately got to work. First, we helped her identify a new employer that will meet the conditions of her nomination which had been issued by the province of Manitoba. Then, we facilitated the process of obtaining a fresh Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) approval (Change of employer). With that in hand, we prepared and submitted a thorough restoration of status and work permit application under tight timelines.
The result? She was successfully restored to worker status in Canada, with a valid work permit and a clear path forward. The client now also have a PR application in process.
Her case is a testament to what timely action, proper strategy, and strong advocacy can accomplish, even when things seem uncertain.
