We are excited to share another client success from our Halifax office. Our client retained Verge Immigration Services Inc. after facing challenges with their previous immigration pathway under the Nova Scotia Skilled Worker stream. The client’s employment situation was changing, and they required a solution that provided flexibility and long-term stability.
Issues and Challenges in the Application
- The client already had a Skilled Worker application in process but risked losing status due to employer-related issues.
- They wanted the ability to work for multiple employers in Nova Scotia rather than being tied to one.
- Navigating program changes and ensuring continuity of status required timely and strategic action.
We carefully assessed the client’s eligibility and recommended transitioning to the Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry Stream. This pathway allowed the client to use their Canadian experience and qualify for an Express Entry-linked nomination. Our team prepared and submitted a timely application under this stream.

On September 15, 2025, the client received their Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NSNP) nomination under the Express Entry stream, in the occupation Business Systems Specialists (NOC 21221). This nomination not only provides flexibility in employment but also fast-tracks the client’s journey toward permanent residence in Canada.
This case demonstrates how the right strategy can turn challenges into opportunities. At Verge Immigration Services Inc., we are committed to providing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring their Canadian immigration journey is smooth and successful.
